Enough About What I Could Write. Here’s What I’ve Actually Written
You can tell someone you’re an experienced writer until you’re blue in the face, but eventually you have to show the receipts.
So, welcome to my portfolio.
Over the years, I’ve written hundreds of pieces of content across health, medicine, wellness and a handful of adjacent industries, covering everything from everyday health questions to complex medical conditions, treatments, pharmaceuticals, patient education and regulated topics.
Some projects need warmth and empathy. Others need clinical accuracy, careful referencing and absolutely no room for creative interpretation. Plenty need both.
That’s the fun part.
Below, you can explore examples of my published work and get a feel for the different audiences, formats and subject areas I work with.

I have worked with Hana for several years now and can always trust that when I give her a project she will deliver high-quality work within the agreed upon deadline. She is extremely communicative and responsive to change requests and adjustments – though I rarely have edits for her!

Medical & Healthcare Writing
This is where I spend most of my time.
I write clear, evidence-based health and medical content for patients, consumers, healthcare organisations, pharmacies, publishers and agencies.
My work includes topics such as:
- Medical conditions and symptoms
- Treatments and medications
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Mental health
- Women’s health
- Weight management
- Nutrition and lifestyle
- Patient education
- Healthcare services
- Pharmaceuticals
- Medical devices and treatments
The subject matter can get complicated. The finished copy shouldn’t have to be.
My job is to take the clinical evidence, work out what your audience actually needs to know, and turn it into something accurate, useful and readable.
Ideally without making anyone feel like they’ve accidentally opened a journal article during their lunch break.
Blog & Content Writing
Health and medicine may be my specialist area, but they aren’t the only things I’ve written about.
My wider portfolio includes content covering areas such as:
- Legal topics
- Veterinary health and pet care
- Lifestyle and wellness
- Product reviews
- Insurance
- Property
- Consumer education
That variety has made me particularly good at adapting to different briefs, audiences and brand voices.
One day I might be explaining a medical treatment. The next I could be reviewing a product, simplifying legal terminology or writing about pet health.
My browser history is, accordingly, chaos.
One Writer, Lots of Voices
You probably don’t want your healthcare brand to sound exactly like every other healthcare brand on the internet.
Good news: neither do I.
I adapt my writing to suit your audience and brand rather than expecting your content to fit into one generic “Hana voice”.
That might mean:
- Warm and reassuring patient information
- Friendly, conversational wellness content
- Clear and authoritative medical education
- SEO-led consumer articles
- Persuasive but responsible commercial copy
- Professional B2B or HCP content
The goal isn’t for readers to recognise that I wrote it.
The goal is for it to sound like the best version of you.
What About the Work You Can’t See?
Ah, yes. The glamorous world of ghostwriting.
Not everything I write has my name attached to it, and plenty of client work can’t appear publicly in my portfolio because of confidentiality agreements, agency arrangements or the nature of the project.
That means the examples on this site are only part of the picture.
I’ve also produced ghostwritten articles, website copy, patient information, healthcare marketing content, product copy and other materials for clients who prefer to keep their writer firmly behind the scenes.
Which is absolutely fine by me.
I’m quite happy taking the payment instead of the byline.
If you’re looking for experience in a specific topic or format and don’t see an obvious example here, get in touch. There’s a good chance I’ve worked on something relevant that I can tell you more about privately.
Seen Enough?
If you’ve browsed the portfolio, mentally ticked a few boxes and thought “yes, this is roughly what we need”, the next step is easy.
Book a free discovery call and tell me about your project.
You don’t need a finished brief. You don’t even need to know exactly what you need yet. We can talk through your audience, goals, content requirements and deadlines and work out whether I’m the right person to help.
No hard sell.
No mysterious “strategy session” that turns out to be a sales pitch.
Just a chat about words.
